My research career

Predoctoral fellow at UVa and co-director of the archaeological excavations in the Pintia Archaeological Zone (ZAP) (Padilla de Duero/Peñafiel. Valladolid).

My activity

Her research focuses on the Iron Age in the Middle Douro Valley, particularly in the pre-Roman Vacceo group, with special attention to the Pintia Archaeological Zone. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on the Fibulae of the Vacceo territory (5th to 1st centuries BC). She is co-author of several monographs on a particular type of ceramic objects called singular productions characterized by their carving and excised decoration, and on the archaeological record of the necropolis of Las Ruedas (ZAP). She is also co-author of several specialized articles on fibulae in the journal Vaccea Anuario and in the publication of Prehistory and Archaeology of the University of Granada.
