Objectives:

Provide an overview of the penetration of pre-Roman glass beads in the Iberian Peninsula and their potential workshops of origin, hoping to provide evidence of the commercial and political relations of the period and to answer questions about the possible Central European or even local origin of some samples. This project will also address for the first time the archaeometric study of a wide selection of glass core pendants recovered in the Peninsula, with the aim of deepening the knowledge of these ancient masterpieces.

Expected results:

The first global database on pre-Roman glass in Spain, its penetration routes, and to develop a leading position in this field at international level.
